Contract Specialist

Provide responsive and effective theater contracting support to the Combined Joint Operations Areas of Iraq and Afghanistan as well as coordination authority over all Department of Defense contracting activities operating in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Pakistan or Jordan in order to provide unity of contracting effort. This is a deployable position to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Pakistan or Jordan. Position may be filled by temporary promotion or temporary reassignment for 13-months, and may be extended in one-year increments up to a maximum of five years.
